Dying from a sudden stroke, actor Luke Perry leaves behind countless shocked fans.

Coy Luther “Luke” Perry III (Luke Perry) was an American actor on a CW series Riverdale.  You may know him as Fred Andrews, or Archie Andrew’s dad. Perry sadly passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the age 52 at Saint Joseph Medical Center Burbank.  Perry died from complications from a stroke.

For those who don’t know what a stroke or coma is, a stroke occurs when a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain is either blocked by a clot or bursts.  A coma is when somebody loses consciousness for an extended period of time, and it can happen after a stroke.  Perry was in a coma for six days from February 27 through March 4.

Perry’s death was sudden. Recently, there had been news of a 90210 reunion. Now, sadly, he won’t join his co-stars from the 90’s hit show.

Perry is survived by his two children, Sophie age 18, and Jack age 21.  His parents Coy Luther Perry Jr. and Ann Bennett had already passed. Perry had three siblings, Thomas Perry, 54, Amy Perry, 49, Emily Bennet, 43.  Perry was buried in Dixon, Tennessee, sometime in the week following his death.

There is no answer for whom or what is going to happen to his role as Fred Andrews on the show Riverdale. The top 3 recent shows that Perry was in were Riverdale, Beverly Hills 902110, and Ties That Bind.

In the show Riverdale, Perry was a single parent that was divorced and had one child Archie Andrews, as his role was Fred Andrews.  In Beverly Hills 90210, Perry played a single young man in high school through his early 20s.  And lastly in the last recent show Ties That Bind Perry was once again a single parent with two kids, Cameron and Mariah. His characters name was Tim Olson and he is in prison and had a sister named Allison McLean.

Any sudden death is difficult for people to process, but Perry’s leaves countless fans in shock from this unexpected tragedy.
