Captain Marvel is an amazing movie!

Connecting to the Avengers franchise, Captain Marvel is a must-see for Marvel or action fans.

Captain Marvel is one of the Marvel movies that has come out this year and is, by far, one of my favorites of the entire series.

Captain Marvel is a jam-packed movie that is mostly about the war between the Kree and Skrull, two alien races.  The movie opens with Captain Marvel, known as Vers at the time, working with the Kree. Vers traced a group of Skrull to Earth and are trying to track them down, but this is difficult because the Skrull are Shapeshifters.

Captain Marvel has made over $153 million in America the first weekend it came out and is the sixth-biggest worldwide film opening since 2002.  The directors were Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The stars were Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and Captain Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Ben Mendelsohn as Talos.  Part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was produced by Marvel Studios.

The movie is two hours and eight minutes long and was the best two hours and eight minutes movie ever!  I think that if you do watch the movie then you should stay for a little after the movie to see the traditional post-credit Marvel reveal.

I like this movie because it clearly connects to all the movies of the Avengers series.  Captain Marvel gained her powers when she was hit by the Tesseract, which was an infinity stone, also in Avengers Infinity War.  Of course, viewers already saw Nick Fury use a pager to call Captain Marvel at the end of that movie, too.

I love this movie because it reminds me of a better version of Guardians of the Galaxy because it has a galactic scale, like Guardians, but emphasizes more action than humor.  To me, it tells a good story of someone who can change her perception to overcome her struggles.  Notably, this is the first Marvel movie with a woman as the lead character.

The movie will probably be one of my favorite movies in 2019 because it serves as a precursor to the Avengers, as most of the story takes place in 1995, and it includes the story of how Nick Fury lost one of his eyes.  This was always a mystery for Marvel fans.

If you love Marvel movies, or just like fun action movies, go out and see Captain Marvel today!
