Ariana Grande’s Positions (Deluxe) is a must listen!

With new features, tracks, the deluxe edition of Ariana Grande’s Positions should be heard by casual and superfans.

Ariana Grande’s Positions album came out on October 30, 2020, and the deluxe edition was released on February 19, 2021.  It is available on Target, Amazon, Walmart, or on Ariana Grande’s shop called shop.arianagrande.com.  If you are purchasing the Positions (Deluxe) it costs 13.99.

I loved this album, I loved it, I loved all the songs on the Positions album and on the deluxe as well.  All the songs had amazing lyrics and the songs felt so beautiful.  Her vocals and verses in all of the songs were so beautiful, and the backing tracks had catchy, driving rhythms.   The harmonies Grande put in all the songs stood out and showcased her voice.  You will remember the hits and poppy choruses, but you will enjoy all the tracks on the album, too.

Something specific that was on the deluxe edition were photos of Ariana Grande during her album photoshoot.  Each photo represented a song from the album, and the photos make a visual complement to the album.

On the deluxe album, one of her songs called “main thing” has a similar theme to the title track.  She expresses her feelings and emotions by saying “All I wanna do is spend time with you, even when the learning’s done and nothing’s new.”  Her emotions are meaning that she “has butterflies in her stomach,” meaning she is nervous.  The honesty is apparent in her vocals and harmonies on the track, too.

In her deluxe album she had another song called “34+35 remix”, and it was a music video.  Originally, Grande made a song called “34+35”, which is now her second-most streamed song on Spotify, but she had also made a remix to the song featuring Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion.  The remix is very different.  In the remix video, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion each had a part of them to sing and rap, and the rest Grande sang.   The “34+35 remix” itself is a strong enough song to purchase.

Also in the deluxe album was the song called “someone like u (interlude)”.  The cute track has Grande repeating the line, “I’ve been waiting for someone like u”. This interlude track song is a little similar to the Intro track from her second studio album called “My Everything”.   These small, inter album connections are always appreciated by superfans of any artist.

Another song from the deluxe album is called “test drive”. Grande opens the song with a sense of rhythm and as her vocals stay with the beat of the chorus.  A memorable lyric insists, “No, I don’t feel the need to drive nothin”.

In my opinion, I recommend that you should listen to the Positions (Deluxe) album and buy it because of the value and replayability.  Both the Positions and Positions (Deluxe) albums are amazing examples of pop music.

Please note, that the majority of the tracks are explicit, so make sure to ask for permission before buying or streaming the songs on your own.
