Okay, I think it would be great if The Tiger’s Tale kept up with what is going on with the History Fair like rankings, workshops, etc. Also, FOREVER ENGLAND! 😛

I love this idea that we can read the articles online. That way we can read them over again and we won’t crumple the or lose them.I really like the opinion you can speak your mind.
Ashley Lam • Feb 26, 2017 at 3:37 pm
I really appreciate all the work that you guys put into Tiger’s Tale. It’s amazing to read about what’s currently going on around school, and the fact that it’s written by Middle Schoolers fascinates me! I also really enjoy how it’s online, so you can access it from almost anywhere. In addition, it saves paper and ink! I enjoy the Sports Articles the most, along with the opinions though there aren’t many. Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Jenessa Hernandez for that amazing article based on Speech and Debate. The article really shows how people participating in this activity are working hard to make MacArthur Tigers number 1! I believe that most of us in Speech and Debate are excited about this activity becoming an actual class!!! I also think that someone should make an article explaining how Speech and Debate might become a class if enough people go to the meeting and encourage people to participate. It would be amazing to have a class but in my opinion there should be two teachers teaching their part of this club(class). For example, Ms. Whitmire should be in charge of the speakers and Mr. Degree in charge of the debaters. I, myself am not quite sure how one class could be divided into two parts or have separate classes but I’m sure we can compromise and please at least most of the participants and teachers. Thank you, Journalism once again for the spectacular website and articles.

I really much enjoy reading The Tiger’s Tale because it a great way to share information and amazing articles with the entire school. It is way easier going online than wasting paper. I especially love reading the articles about the sports are school has. The articles always keep me intrigued and never get me bored. Keep up the astonishing work on this website.
John Dinh • Feb 23, 2017 at 10:03 pm
Hi my name is John Dinh and I really appreciate what The Tiger’s Tale does. I’m also aware that many students won’t read the site and appreciate all the hard work that journalism puts in to the stories, news, and website.Which brings me to my next topic, appreciation.Students at the school do not make an effort to help the school and staff. On campus I frequently see students leave their trash. If the school can devise a strategy to help with this problem I believe MacArthur’s environment would be 10 times more enjoyable than it is already

There are many things I think are great here at MacArthur. One of them is the variety of clubs to join. There are clubs about rock, magic, skateboarding, and more! I also like the opportunity boys and girls have of joining sports here. Boys can try out for sports like soccer and basketball and girls can too, but each with their own gender at a different time of season. I personally think that’s fantastic. I myself joined the boys soccer here at MacArthur. It is also cool to have many cool electives here that help out and affect our school for the better! I’m personally in an elective named Peer Assistance Leadership, but I enjoy to see the other clubs, like journalism, yearbook, choir, etc. In conclusion, I’m really enjoying MacArthur so far and I am glad to see how journalism is affecting our school in a great way with this website!
Aryani Juarez • Feb 23, 2017 at 9:30 pm
I would like to thank everyone who participates and updates or has anything to do with helping out with this website because I find it very helpful and resourceful. It’s also nice to know what’s going on in our school and including everyone and not just focusing on academic clubs or activities. Or just focusing on athletic activities and sports. I think we can all agree that we appreciate your guys’ effort into helping us get involved with our school.
Jenessa Hernandez • Feb 23, 2017 at 9:29 pm
From my perspective, one of my favorite part about having an online newspaper is the Daily Bulletin! It is so helpful, especially when you have been absent on a certain day! I also immensely enjoy reading the editorials and definitely, the polls are always fun to participate in! Mr.Celestino and the rest of the staff do an excellent job at “covering the community”. I appreciate the effort and usefulness of the Tiger’s Tale. Thank you!
Zacharie Sanchez • Feb 23, 2017 at 7:16 pm
Tiger’s Tale is a great way to keep the school involved without wasting ink and paper. It keeps us informed and lets us keep up with the school anytime we want.Thank you for keeping us informed and putting lots of effort into Tiger’s Tale.
Allison Morales • Feb 23, 2017 at 6:58 pm
I’m so glad we have classmates so involved with letting us know when something is going on at school. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate your preparation and involvement. I was just wondering how cool it would be if every other Friday we could have morning visual announcements on a screen in our classrooms, although I do see some flaws . Never the less, thanks again for this wonderful resourceful website.
Mariana Garcia • Feb 23, 2017 at 6:04 pm
I honestly think its very smart that you guys decided to put all of your informational articles online rather than on expensive paper and ink. Because you guys put this online, everyone has access to see what is going on around our community. Thank you so much for getting us to know more about our campus and for putting so much time and effort to make your articles good:)

MacArthur’s Tiger tale is a great way for students to be involved with the school. It provides a variety of events happening within the school easy for students to access. The MacArthur’s Tiger’s Tale has a wonderful staff trying their hardest to keep up with the latest news and events happening. I appreciate the hard work coming from the students writing these articles and hope this becomes even more successful with future students.
Alexis Tlilayatzi • Feb 23, 2017 at 4:03 pm
I cannot believe that you guys have such an amazing website where we could learn much more about our school and know what is going on everyday. I can’t believe that you guys can run a website successfully even though you are in middle school . I love how you guys aren’t waisting any paper at all and that means you guys are saving several trees. Great job you guys. Keep up the good work you guys.
Victoria Maldonado • Feb 23, 2017 at 3:42 pm
I really enjoy being able to read the Tiger’s Tale online. It keeps us informed about what is going on at our school and lets us know what new clubs/ sports there are to join. It is easily accessible to all students and staff and it doesn’t waste paper. In my opinion, Tiger’s Tale is a major reason students participate in school activities. Thank you, and keep up the great work!
Erik Duran • Feb 23, 2017 at 3:06 pm
It is so cool that the The Tiger’s Tale is online because I spend so much time online that I get bored and go to school websites like Tiger’s Tale. Also we have many activities like the library club and we have many sports like soccer,
basketball, and baseball. Also Spirit Pride and Achievement.
Carolina Mejia • Feb 23, 2017 at 12:28 pm
The Tiger’s Tale is just wonderful it provides us with all the information we want to know about the school activities and how everything has been going. My personal favorite thing about Tiger’s Tale is that no paper is being wasted and we all still get all benefits of knowing whats going on around the school. Thank you for informing us all with your articles.
Brandon Nguyen • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:49 am
The Tiger’s Tale is an amazing website to find the up to date news. You also have the chance to take weekly polls so you can give your opinions. This website allows you to check the sports you can join too! I like how we can save paper by just using this website. Overall, the tiger’s tale is a great website that every student from MacArthur should use.
Paul Mendoza • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:48 am
It is amazing how this school how this school has many activities to do. First of all, this school has sports to join such as football, basketball, etc. This school has many clubs to join such as the magic club, etc. This school has many end of the year activities which include sports day and the day where you have three periods in one day. These are the activities in this school that make it different than other schools.
Ariane De Guzman • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:48 am
I find it amazing how middle school students can efficiently run a website. I am in awe with the way you voice what you think ,and inform us about what’s going on around campus. It’s genius to also add weekly polls. Props to all of you for creating interesting and splendid articles. I enjoy sports and opinions articles the best. Keep up with spectacular work!
Lillie Nguyen • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:48 am
I really like how our school has many actives that we could join. There is always something for everyone to do. Thanks to the teacher and the student for creating a club that they are interested in or know that people are interested in. I also really like how the teacher always want to help students do better. There are many ways to get some help. For example, you can ask a teacher for help and you can go to tutoring at lunch.
Misa Villegas • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:45 am
It satisfies my brain to see how hard editorial staff works on these articals, and that there are many to choose from. They are all so interesting but I haven’t gotten to read all of them, but I look forward to.
Marley Phipps • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:44 am
I just want to say that I really enjoy the Tiger´s Tale and I find it very helpful. On the other hand, I would like if more opinion articles were added. It gives the students a voice and the opinion articles are fun to read. Keep up the good work. 🙂
Sincerely,
Marley Phipps
Samantha Hendrickson • Feb 23, 2017 at 8:42 am
I am so glad that the tiger’s tale is online. It is much easier to go to. The school news is a good thing to read. So you know what is going on. I am also glad that it is always kept up to date. Thank you for all the effort you put into this website. Keep up the good work.
Josh Trevino • Mar 27, 2017 at 2:04 pm

Mariela Rodriguez • Feb 22, 2017 at 8:37 pm
I really like how the Tiger’s Tale keeps up with our daily lives at MacArthur! I really hope that this will continue on for, well, the rest of the years MacArthur stands! I also really like the “Weekly Poll”! I think that was a great idea. To be honest, I don’t think that there is anything bad about the Tiger’s Tale! I agree with Mariana Quezada that it really helps save papers and this won’t get lost. I think you guys should keep it up! Also, be proud of what you people have created! I mean look at this! We have our own website for MacArthur! Well, anyway, I hope you all have a good school year!
Patrick Nguyen • Feb 22, 2017 at 7:55 pm
When it comes to good writing, the first thing that comes into my mind is this website! The writing here is splendid and very descriptive all while speaking of our school’s events. From charity to sports, you could find a wide variety of topics to read about! With a History Faire article, I can learn new things about the topic so I could understand it more! It’s great how you have a thumbnail for a different article which explains the main subject of the article! I hope to see more of this in the future!
Josh Trevino • Mar 27, 2017 at 2:24 pm
Dear Patrick Nguyen,
Thank you so much for the nice complement! We deeply appreciate your time in writing this comment. We will make sure to keep up the effort!
Christie Nguyen • Feb 22, 2017 at 5:32 pm
I really appreciate all the effort that you (and the Journalism class) have put into The Tiger’s Tale. Even though I kind of miss the newspaper version, I’m glad that you’ve been integrating the technology that most people use nowadays–instead of wasting more paper and ink. Pleasantly surprising were the additional amount of articles and “Daily Bulletin” on this site, which is very useful for those in P.E. first period. Not only that, the weekly polls are very interactive to the audience, and the “Opinion” portion shows different perspectives on matters some may find troubling. I really do enjoy taking the time to read about MacArthur’s ongoing activities and events, but on several occasions, I have noticed incorrect information. However, I have every faith that the given statistics are accurate to the best of the reporter’s knowledge and that rarely are mistakes made in these carefully edited articles. Because of that–and I hope you don’t mind me saying–please keep up the excellent work, but also remember to be persistent in content accuracy. Other than that, The Tiger’s Tale is nearly perfection. Overall, the articles are wonderful to read, and your determined undertakings are highly valued to us readers.
Wendy Rodriguez • Feb 22, 2017 at 3:41 pm
Hi, my name is Wendy Rodriguez and I am a first year staff reporter for the Tigers Tale. Even though I am involved with journalism week, I would like to thank all my peers in the classroom because they are nice and are funny. I truly agree with the idea that Mr. Celestino made about having the Tigers Tale online instead on newspaper because not everyone will get a newspaper all the time and not all the people will have a chance to read whats happening in our school. I would like to thank Michelle and Frida because for making the morning announcements when asked to because without them the students and staff wouldn’t it was journalism week or they wouldn’t even know that they could write letters to the editor. I would also like to thank the rest of the editors including the photo editors, design editors, managing editors, coverage editor, and the Editor in Chief because the photo editors go out and take pictures for an article that wants to get published into the Tigers Tale. The rest of the editors take care of there job such as going around weekly and asking the staff reporters what step are they in on completing an article. In my opinion, I think joining journalism is not a waste of my time I really enjoy 6th period and having this class as an elective is a great way for students to get back on track on writing if there behind because journalism is all about writing. Even though that I’m a staff reporter fro the Tigers Tale I wanted to thank my peers for helping understand that there is a way to make things work if we all work as a team and that’s what classmates do. We are a team and we are accomplishing pour goals to win fun activities in the classroom. I always get excited when article is going to be published because I get to read it and it tells me the events that are happening and that way I can go tell everybody to go check out macarthurtigerstale.net. To conclude, I would like to thank all my peers in journalism because they are a huge help to me when finishing an article or other homework. Thank you to everyone!
Sincerely,
Wendy Rodriguez

I like how you started the Tigers Tale and how you aren’t wasting paper. I enjoy seeing all the articles you put on here. I appreciate reading these articles and great work.
Josh Trevino • Mar 27, 2017 at 2:21 pm
Dear Leslie Ochoa,
Thank you for your comment. We decided to start the Tiger’s Tale website because it is more efficient for the school instead of waiting for the newspaper. It also allows our staff to publish much quicker.
Nicholas Moreno • Feb 22, 2017 at 12:28 pm
I really enjoy seeing the yearbook and the wonderful things that the staff write! I truley love seeing the weekly Tigerś Tale articles. I also enjoy the yearbook, and the well taken pictures of students and staff smiling. I absolutely love all the articles, pictures etc.. Keep up the good work! 🙂
Sincerely,
Nicholas Moreno.
Mariana Quezada • Feb 22, 2017 at 8:22 am
I like the way you guys put the tigers tale online instead of wasting paper and ink. This way people can see it again and again and not lose it. It can be updated easily and you can make it fun to look at by adding different tabs or making the links rotate. I also like how Frida and Michelle are so committed because they never give up an opportunity to shout “Go to macarthurstigerstale.net!” I think this is the reason so many people are taking the poll. When you announced that it is not only the journalists job to get in touch with the students. The students also have to get in touch with the journalists and I thought this was a good thing to do. So, I wrote a letter about the things I like about MacArthur’s Tigers Tale. To continue, I am in Mr. Celestino’s first period class and I see on the board how many articles you have to write. There are charts and graphs that say what needs to be done and that sounds like hard work. I want to give you credit for all those articles and also the time it takes you to go out and interview people or take pictures. Also, whenever I read through the articles I don’t find hardly any spelling mistakes and there is just the right amount of words. It isn’t too long so that it gets boring, but it doesn’t seem too short either. Last of all, the effort most of the journalism people put into creating the Tigers Tale is at least as much the effort the yearbook staff puts in, based on what Mr. Celestino says anyway.
