Dear Editor,
I am Violet L, a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing a response to your article, “Flannels and air forces,” by Joseph A. I find this article interesting because it tells use students the new trending looks. I sometimes feel like there are more trending looks in school like ambitious hoodies and dickies. I see these all over school. Maybe ambitious hoodies and dickies can be the new look for this year.
Thank you editor for your time in reading this message.
Sincerely,
Violet l.

Dear Editor,
I am Emeli P., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Flannels & air forces Fashion are the popular choice,” by Joseph A. I find this article interesting because it is talking about the new fashion trend in school and other students’ opinions on fashion. I sometimes feel like there is another fashion trend going on in school. black jackets and dark blue pants. I see them everywhere. Maybe black clothes and dark blue pants are the new trends. I also see some students with long to medium straight hair and perms.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message editor.
Sincerely,
Emeli P.
Ayden F. • Feb 15, 2022 at 5:59 pm
Dear Editor,
I am Ayden F., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “A social trend Devious licks Causes Damage On Campus,” by Joshua F..
I would agree with Joshua’s opinion. He is saying that the “Devious Licks” are not good to do. Therefore his opinion is valid for me. Also that he agrees because he follows rules and doesn’t break them and he always tries his best.
I would agree with Joshua’s point of view of devious licks. The reason is that it is wasting the school’s money that affects us by not being able to go on field trips. Also, it is stupid because you are destroying the school’s property that isn’t yours and running the fun for kids that like this school.
So therefore I would agree with Joshua F., thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Ayden F.

[I found it interesting was the damage of MacArthur from the Devious Licks TikTok trend. Sometimes I wonder why people destroy the things we use for the bathroom.

Kendall M. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:54 am
Dear Editor,
I am Kendall M., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Students Employ P.PE Using masks to Damage School Property,” by Alyssa F.
It talks about students using masks badly. Students are using the masks to damage school property. Students are damaging chairs, pens, and pencils
I strongly agree that students should not be damaging school property with their masks. I really think students should be using their masks correctly because we are still in a pandemic and that is causing the virus to spread.
I really think that you did a great job on the article. The grammar is excellent and I could see you took your time on the article. Keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Kendall M.

Students using the bathroom pass too much.

Thank you editor for your time. I give you five stars for being awesome.
Sincerely,

Ayden A. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:52 am
Dear Editor,
I am Ayden A. 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “ Devious Licks,” by Joshua F.
I think the ́Devious lick’ from my point of view was funny but turned into a disaster. Kids were ripping sinks off and one kid destroyed 700 dollars worth of school property.
I agree that it was bad and taking school property but it just started from a dumb tiktok video.
Thank you for your time hopefully you read this thank you.
Sincerely,
Ayden A.
Amare C. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:51 am
Dear Editor,
I am Amare C., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Fashion,” by Joseph A.
As school resumed on campus, students once again had an opportunity to show off their fashion sense.
I agree with the writer’s opinion because Fashion is very unique. It is also a way to express yourself. You may include whether you agree or disagree with the writer’s opinion.
I mainly think because Fashion is very unique. It is also a way to express yourself. Thank the editor for their time.
Sincerely,
Amare C.

Dear Editor,
I am Ryan O., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Football team limited because of ineligible players” by Alynna M.
This part of the tiger’s Tale was really good and interesting. I really loved what I read because it tells me what happen in the game and gives a lot of details.
I agree that our football team did not do so well but a least they tried their best and you gave a lot of information that they work hard but did not end as well as they wanted to.
Thank you so much for your time and for writing the story about the football team and what happens.
Sincerely,
Ryan O.

Dear Editor,
I am Bryan M., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Devious Licks,” by Joshua F.
This article explains how the trend on social media “devious licks” is how
Students steal and damage school property.
I agree with you because devious licks are bad and the parents of the students will have to pay a lot of money and all for nothing.
Thank the editor for their time.
Sincerely,
Bryan M.

Dear Editor,
I am Yvette P., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “flannels & air forces are popular,” by Joseph A.
I like this article but I don’t like our school’s dress code like why can’t we wear ripped jeans.
This article is very well written, thank you for your time to write this article.
Sincerely,
Yvette P.
Emily C. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:45 am
Dear Editor,
I am Emily C., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Devious licks,” by Joshua F.
This article is about the horrible social media trend going around that encourages kids to break things such as soap dispensers, tiles, and parts of toilets, and chairs. The school is supposed to be organized and clean, there is no reason why kids should destroy any school property just to get caught a day later. Students spend most of the day at school and just to ruin it is disrespectful to the school.
I completely agree with all of your statements. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
Sincerely,
Emily C.
Isla S. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:44 am
Dear Editor,
I am Isla S., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “fashion,” by Joseph A.
This article is talking about how students are dressing and what they are wearing. People say that fashion is a way to express your creativity or ¨fashion is very unique¨. But also how trends can easily change and die down fashion changes a lot thru the years. Throughout the years, fashion has changed in so many ways there are a bunch of new styles now.
I agree how students dress they should wear embrace their style but not go so overboard.
In conclusion, there are so many types of fashion that students wear it’s fun to show ur fashion sense. Thank you editor for your time reading my response.
Sincerely,
Isla S.
Issac S. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:44 am
Dear Editor,
I am Issac S., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Bathroom passes,” by Staff Editorial.
This article talks about how students abuse the privilege of the bathroom pass and others talk about how some students just need to go more often than others.
In my opinion, we should go back to the old bathroom pass because students shouldn’t hold it in and they can’t control when they need to go to the bathroom.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Issac S.
Victor B. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:43 am

I like how this article talks about how students and teachers have to wear masks and stay safe in school.
I agree with this article because it said that kids should be quarantined if they were close to anyone sick.
This is why I like this article that you made. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this.
Sincerely,
Victor B.
Kathylene O. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:42 am
Dear Editor,
I am Kathylene O., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “A social media trend Devious licks causes damage on campus,” by Joshua F.
This part of The Tiger’s Tale is interesting to me because it gives information on how social media can be a mad influence on kids at school.
I agree that social media can maybe get kids a little crazy and think they could just destroy school property. But, this is why schools now have supervisors by the bathrooms making sure no one is destroying school property. Also, now that we can’t do any tiktok experiments in the bathrooms. I’ve noticed that students are now fighting in the bathroom.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Kathylene O.

Dear Editor,
I am Jessica G., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “The Halloween Dance returns from hiatus,” by Terry N.
The Halloween dance has face painting, snacks, and dancing. The point of view is the students enjoy the dance. How many funny and great costumes and the games they play.
I agree with your opinion because students want to enjoy the best dance and other dances in Macarthur.
I enjoy reading Tiger’s tale and the Halloween dance. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jessica G.

I love how you wrote an article about returning to campus because it is great that we are back to school and meeting our friends.

Edelyn H. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:42 am
Dear Editor,
I am Edelyn H., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, Bathroom passes by staff editorial.
The new bathroom passes are very unfair because it is not our fault we have to go. Besides, it’s not a choice if we want to go or not. Mostly for girls they might have an emergency but they can’t go cause they don’t have any more passes.
We really want the old passes so girls won’t have to worry about anything.
Thank the editor for their time.
Sincerely,
Edelyn H.
Hennessy R. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:41 am
Dear Editor,
I am Hennessy R., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Flannels and; Air Forces Fashion Are The Popular Choice,” by Joseph A.
The article was talking about what are the most popular things that students like to wear. The author’s point of view is that students find ways to make 1 thing into something that turns popular, creative, and unique to wear. Their stance on this issue is that sometimes students can go a bit overboard and wear something that is a dress code. For example pajamas…lots of students are starting to wear sweat pants and pajamas on campus.
I agree with the author that the outfits are very creative and cool to wear but sometimes it can be hard for the teachers to give out the dress codes because there might be lots of students wearing dress codes.
Thank you for your time in making this article, it was very interesting to read.
Sincerely,
Hennessy R.

[I really like this article but I feel like they should have added more photos like one where the whole team is lined up.]
[I believe that Macarthur would have won or done well at least if there were no ineligible players and they all played like a team. Thank you for your time.]
Sincerely,
[ Isaac P..]

Fabian H. • Feb 15, 2022 at 11:40 am
Dear Editor,
I am Fabian H., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Devious licks,” by Joshua F.
The students who committed the devious licks were punished with detention or suspension from campus. “It’s stupid immature and stupid, what are you going to get out of breaking and stealing things?”
I agree that students shouldn’t be doing devious licks, it’s not their property.
In conclusion, students should not be doing those trends anymore. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Fabian H.
Giselle O. • Feb 15, 2022 at 10:57 am
Dear Editor,
I am Giselle O., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Bathroom passes,” by Staff Editorial.
The bathroom pass is important because it used to waste time. But in my opinion, I like the old ones because it was more and better for the girls as well.
I agree with Mr. Jim Axton, math teacher he said ‘‘I like the ones we used before in the first semester better, but we needed to switch because the students were abusing the privilege.’’ Mr. Jim Axton has a good point.
Thank you staff editorial for your time.
Israel G. • Feb 15, 2022 at 10:57 am
Dear Editor,
I am Israel G., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “ Bath Room Passes,” by staff editorial.
The bathroom passes are a good section to write about. It identifies how kids abused the passes and how some people need more time than others
I think that the old bathroom pass is better than the new one because some kids need to go to the bathroom more than others.
Thank you editor for your time.
Sincerely,
Israel G.

Jocelyn S. • Feb 15, 2022 at 10:52 am
Dear Editor,
I am Jocelyn S., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “The lunch table setup is causing a mess,” by Alynna M.
This article explains that trash has increased in Macarthur Campus, the students don’t even throw away their trash in the trashcan like they are supposed to do to keep the campus clean.
I like this article because not that many students care to keep their school campus clean. Sometimes I see students eat their food and leave their trash.
Students should throw their trash away so that Macarthur Fundamental Intermediate could have an excellent learning environment for students to learn and grow. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Jocelyn A.

Sincerely,

Dear Editor,
I am Kaylee S.a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Flannels and air forces are the popular fashion choice.” by Joseph A.
Fashion is a way for some to express themselves; it also shows how you would like to stand out to others. Maybe flannels and air forces are how others would like to appear.
I agree that style is a way to express yourself and show others your sense of style.

Sincerely, Kaylee S.

Dear Editor,
I am Aiden A., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Macarthur faces the devious lick TikTok trends,” by Joshua F.
The author of this journal talks about how students think the devious lick is bad and ruining school, also they have to pay a lot of money to cause this damage.
I agree with the editor and author because you could go to court for this and possibly go to jail
These are the reasons I agree, thank you editor for taking your time to read this.
Sincerely,
Aiden A.

The article informs us students about the TikTok trend called devious lick and they are appointed about the trend in a negative way. And he showed how the trend had a negative impact.
I agree with how the Editor expresses himself on how the trend is negative and why it should never happen again.

Sincerely,
Ryan C.
Luis C. • Feb 15, 2022 at 10:48 am
Dear Editor,
I am Luis C., a 7th-grade student in Mrs. Garcia and Ms. L’s class. I am writing in response to your article, “Macarthur faces devious licks tik tok trend,” by Joshua F.
The Arthurs point of view, was how the TikTok trend cost the schools thousands of dollars and said was immature and stupid, It was immature because students were taking off soap dispensers and costing the school.
In conclusion, I think what the students did to cost the school was super immature and stupid.
Sincerely,
Luis C.
